Turbo’s or how you can benefit from leverage

Because a healthy management of a portfolio is synonym to diversification, you can via Keytrade bank next to shares, funds, warrants, trackers, bonds and options trade in a new product. This derivate product will help you optimize your strategy.

What is a Turbo?

A Turbo is a financial instrument that, thanks to its leverage effect, allows to react to every underlying asset in order to be instantly reflected in the Turbos quotation with multiplier effect.

You can invest on many underlying assets thanks to a Turbo:

Shares (ex: Abn Amro, Ebay, Fortis, Total,…)
Indexes (ex : Bel20, Cac40, Amex Oil,…)
Raw materials (ex : Aluminium, Blé, Zinc,…)
Bonds (ex : Bund, T-Note,…)
Currencies (ex : Eur, GBP, USD,…)

There are two types of turbo:

Turbo Long : you benefit from a rise of the underlying asset
Turbo Short : you benefit from a drop of the underlying asset

A Turbo allows you to benefit from the whole variation of an underlying asset by investing only a fraction of it. So a BEL 20 Turbo Long with a 5 times leverage effect multiply the variations of the BEL 20 by 5. If the BEL 20 index rises by 1%, the quotation of the BEL 20 Turbo Long increases by 5%. If the BEL 20 Turbo Long has this time a 10 times leverage effect, the BEL 20 Turbo Long will increase by 10% when the BEL 20 index increase by 1%.

How can I invest in these products?

To get detailed information or place an order in Turbos, you need to access Keytrade Bank's secured site. Click then on Trading > Investment > Warrants. With the help of ABN AMRO's search engine, you get more info on a Turbo. To place an order you then click on 'Transaction' and fill in the Keytrade Bank's trading form.

This direct access to ABN AMRO Turbo’s is made in order to help you in your search. However, it is always possible to buy Turbos from other issuing banks with the ISIN or mnemonic code.

As for the tariffs of these products, they follow our usual advantageous tariff structure:

Orders up to € 5000: € 14.95 per transaction
Orders from € 5000 until € 50 000: € 24.95 per transaction
