PHP Developer

Financial institutions are boring. Working in the ICT department of such an institution is extremely boring. Except for one relatively young bank, that developed its own trading and banking platform, which is accessible by Internet 24 hours out of 24, 7 days a week, and runs on Open Source products wherever feasible.

Keytrade Bank is that bank, and we are looking for an experienced PHP developer. You will work in our main office in Brussels as a member of our dynamic team of application developers and web designers. You will be involved in the development of our continuously evolving transactional web-site. You prefer to work in a self-guided fashion with end-to-end responsibility, without losing openness to interaction with team members. Your are capable of seeing beyond a .NET doctrine, and you dream in PHP. Ajax is cool, but you know that it is as old as Java Script. You are not afraid of strong opinions, neither from yourself or from your colleagues.

Are you that (wo)man?

Requirements:

  • Good track in PHP and AJAX development
  • Experience with Flash Action Script is an asset
  • Affinity with Open Source Software
  • Optionally, experience with the MySQL database technology
  • Fluent in two of the following languages: English, Dutch and French
  • Clean certificate of good behavior
